Opening Soon… But not yet!

15th February 2025

Following a serious water leak in our toilet area in November, our contractors have been working hard to repair the damage caused to the walls and floors in the main lobby area.

These things take time, and we’re now halfway through our repair works. The industrial de-humidifiers have been packed away and we’re eagerly awaiting our re-fit builders starting.

In the meantime, our museum gift shop is open for you to enjoy during weekends, on Saturdays 10-5 and Sunday 1-5. This is a perfect time to pop in, chat to the volunteers and renew your membership card if you live in an ML12 postcode.

We hope to open fully by April, and we’ll keep you posted!
